Huffington Post Loses It over Photo Book

that was some awesome photography and how does this Stephen Meager guy find this unsettling...? The B&W shots are my fav.

and Mr ex prosecutor, sorry but we (women) have been packing heat and raising babies for a while... it just was not as highly publicized. Only reason I would be the damsel in distress is cause I ran out of ammo and I dropped my knife somewhere while trying to stay alive... LOL

I'm not a fan of the pose used for the teen/pre-teen girl, but I see absolutely nothing wrong with the images.

They're definitely "Unsettling".

Considering the internet has some truly unsettling pictures of women, with and without guns, this seems like an over reaction.

I don't see the hatred for the Huffington Post. Or at least, not in this case. The "unsettling" verbage is apparently quoted from the book itself; can't blame HP for that.

The unsettling thing for me was

1. There were not more photos.
2. The liberals sure preach acceptance and love till it comes to something they don't like.

My mother told me that when she was little she knew one of her great grandmothers who had the reputation of being a good shot, so I tell people I got my interest in shooting from a female ancestor.
I didn't care for the pose of the pre teen girl, and most of the pictures look too "posed" but they weren't meant to be candids.

HP Loses It? Really?

+1.

I don't see that the HP is all anti gun over this book at all. The "unsettling" verbage, as pointed about above, is actually from the preface of the book.

Hell, HP also provides a link to some of the photos and a link on where to buy the book. Pretty odd if they are getting all anti gun don't you think?
