HSUS is on the prowl in tennessee...

It all boils down like this: the radical anti-hunting group (so I understand) Humane Society of the United States sent me a little fundraising packet, with a couple sheets of address labels and a request for funding. I did a little research and found out that they're pretty much the same bunch of leering anti-human, anti-gun lunatics PETA is.

What will I do?

I'm going to use the free labels :) However, I'm more than happy to scribble out the "proud supporter of" line. It makes me feel better and maybe it'll make a few letter openers or postal workers think twice about the organization (or think twice about me, but I really don't care about that).

Anyone else getting HSUS detritus in the mail? Other orgs? I figure the best way to combat an organization like this one is to simply use whatever they send you and keep letting them waste money on me.

If their return envelope is a prepaid one, stuff it as full of junk mail as it will hold. The heavier you make it the better. They have to pay the postage on that return mail. Costs them a pretty penny. :D I do this from mail from them, PETA, AARP and any other anti-gun outfit I hear from. If you name ain't on that envelope, they'll keep sending you mail and you keep stuffing the envelopes. It may not bankrupt them, but it will use up some of their money that use against us. Go for it.

Pictures? Junk mail? How about

entrails and fur. They are nice and heavy, smelly, and the perfect way to send them a nice message of support-for hunters. :)

As long as the envelope doesn't say "letter mail only", I believe it's perfectly ok to cut off the front, glue it to a brick, and send it on its way... Be warned however, you might not want to include a return address. ;)

Cheers,

make a donation to a pro hunting organization...e-mail and send them a pic of you dropping the labels in the trash and the other hand with the stamped donation for the pro hunting organization.

That's exactly what I did for PETA a number of years ago. Supported their building effort by giftwrapping a brick and taping it to their postage-paid return envelope. :D

Hrmm, if I get another one I might just have to do that.

Even if it's letter mail, makes me wonder how many slices of (expired) steel license plate can fit in an envelope :)

Do like I do. They send Postage paid envelope. I stuff it full of junk mail and send it back to them. They really love paying additional postage.:D
