HS2000 Long Term Report...Please

I'm thinking about picking one up.

Any long term reports would be helpful.
Ammo recomendations????//
Recent reports about FTE's with certain ammo
based on comment from the HS2000 board

Any info would be helpful.

Maybe i'll just get another GLOCK 9mm I love my G26

I'd check out hs2000talk.com for the real hard use opinions. I really like mine, but I haven't put too much through it yet.

The FTE issues were with winchester white box bulk ammo, which some members measured and found to be either near, at, or above the high end of the spec. Some have mentioned that particular ammo has been pulled, but I don't have info on that - I shoot federal and haven't had a problem.

Also, I've seen one report of rust problems. However, the person claiming that also said he used simple green to clean his gun, which isn't that great of an idea, especially if it's undiluted.
 
Winchester white box 9 mm

This ammo is slightly longer and shaped differently than, say, UMC fmj. My Kel-Tec 9 MM won't feed this stuff but my Ruger 89 and 95 work well with it.
