I have seen the GSP2000 in ads in the past and have not really paid attention to them until now. I was looking at a 1911(Kimber, or SA), but the GSP caught my eye. The GSP($1K) is comporable in price to the TOL Kimber and Wilson Protector. We have heard about the Kimber's and SA's but what about this GunSite offering? What ever happened to Ed Brown?

As far as Ed Brown is concerned, I printed out the order form from his website. It states in rather fine print that his pistols are sold as is with no warranty. I would think that a gunsmith/manufacturer of Ed's status would stand behind his products, but that statement is something to think about.
