How's your P365 15 rnd mag

Hey there,

Briefly saw some people mention the 15 rnd mag might have feeding issues. I have heard Sig isn't the best at extended mags for any of their pistols.

For the regular p365. Is it been okay for you?

Thanks!

I have two of them. The first time I loaded both of them I had some binding of the magazine spring. Basically it was just very hard to load them those times. Since then they’ve been flawless.

Nice. So loading and cycling rounds fine now?

Thanks for the comment back

I will say, even my 10 rounders that came with it are nearly impossible round 5 and on without the cheapy loader that came with my PPQ :)

Yeah it was just that first time loading. They are pretty stiff. Not as stiff as my Beretta mags but still pretty stiff. I do use a loading tool.

No experience with 15 round mags, but I have a couple of the 12 rounders. They were a PITA to load the 1st time. I had to load 9 and let them sit for a few hours then add #10. Sit for a few hours then load #11 and repeat for #12. But after loading them and leaving them loaded for a few days I've had no more problems with loading or feeding.

All of my 365 mags were extremely stiff the first couple of times loading,
especially the 15s. I could only get 14 in the first time. After cycling them a few times they all are fine now. Never had any jam/feeding issues with them.

If seen twice now where folks were trading their 15 rounders for the 12 rounders. I was wondering why... They do get easier to load with use over time.

I have the XL. I carry a backup magazine with any firearm I carry. The 15 rd magazine is my backup.

First day at the range with the P365. Loading the stock 10 is a bit of a chore without a spring presser style loader. I just ordered a couple 3rd party 12 rd mags. We'll see how those go.

They are. After 3+hours of trying to find any p365 mags in stock anywhere, I decided to give them a try. Bad news?

ProMag as a company is amazingly good at making magazines that look they should function just fine and often don’t function at all. We had a thread on here sometime back about them. Generally speaking they are garbage, but idk anyone that has had their P365 magazines, so who knows.

Academy sells them for less than anyone (SIG factory) - 10, 12, 15, all the same price.
