How's this for a wedding present?

Friend of mine is getting married soon. She already has a Winchester Trapper in .357, so I figured what's a better wedding present than a .357 revolver to go with it?

She really liked my .45 when she shot it, so I figure a great present would be a .357 4" wheelgun and a box of .38 special to get her started.

I found a used S&W Model....hmmm...28, perhaps? 4" barrel, not quite full underlug. Blue finish. Beefier cylinder than other Smith models. $250.

I'll have to check it out in more detail, but whaddayall think?

What a steal!:) Should make both, the bride and groom

Sounds like the perfect gift.

My best friend got married last summer and I was the best man. We had been best friends since we were kids, and I knew that he had been looking for the right woman for many years. So I wanted to do something really special. I knew that his .357 had been stolen several years ago, so my first impulse was to buy him a .357 for a wedding present. I bought him a S&W Performance Center 627.
Then I got to thinking about it. What would be a great present to me, or to him, might not pull his new brides chain. Would his new wife be offended that I bought him a present and not her. And what would I buy her to make up for it ? How much of a hassle would it be to fly with it (the wedding was across the country). What venue would I have to give it to him ? What would be the legalities of having it at the hotel prior to the wedding in the District of Columbia ? .......................................
I ended up keeping it and buying them a grind and brew coffee pot. The gun is sitting somewhere in the back of my safe. I think I fired it once. It didn't do anything for me that my other half dozen+ .357s don't do. I still might give it to him if the opportunity presents itself.

Hmm. Her fiancee won't mind. I know him fairly well too. He's been very supportive of her shooting with me (I've been teaching her basic carbine as best I can).

'Sides, there's a 12 gauge pumpgun in it for him. (He doesn't have a gun, but wants one, and it'll give me an excuse to buy that Mossberg I want. :D)

Model 28 for $250.00 Great deal for an N frame 357 .Sounds like a great wedding present . The 28 is so strong hell they can pass it down to their kid when they have one. And it will have a great story attached to it.:D
