About to get my first CZ in large due to posts here.Is CZ customer support top-notch too? Thanks to all.

Fair.

CZ's can be a bit quirky, and when I've tried to tell CS my issue and possible solution, they get a little testy.

I usually just call David at CGW and things get resolved quicker, at least with handguns.

Yeah... There for a while they would send out snap caps. Now that they switched pins for the retaining pin in the slide, I don't think they send them any more.

I only dealt with them once, when my front night sight went out. I emailed on a weekend, got a response (and a UPS label) early on Monday morning, and had it turned around in under three weeks. I thought that was excellent service, but of course that's just one data point over a very minor issue.

I've called with questions and generally got quick answers. The only problems I ever had, years ago, were 1) a Kadet Kit that had the old-style firing pin which sometimes caused ignition issues -- they sent me a new (different design) firing pin, and 2) a broken slide stop -- it happened early in the gun's life. Done quickly.

I emailed them three times, included pictures, about my rear sight screw missing on my new SP-01. I finally got the screw a couple of months later. After the first email. I was told not to email but rather give them a call.

Never needed customer service for my CZ 75 P-01, that I guess is the best cs you can have. I did use their website to order a couple of mag extentions for a couple of Gar-Mags that I had for the gun and it was shipped within one week. So I guess it is good.

Thanks
Jim

They sent me the new style firing pin, spring, and retaining plate for my generation 1 Kadet Kit, and my generation 1 Kadet pistol. They did require me to give them the serial number for each unit, but that's OK. Both sent free. They didn't even charge me for shipping.
