How your senator voted on the two "Sense of the Senate" proposals

Thanks!!! No surprises here!!! Senators' Bunning and McConnell (Both R-Ky) usually 99.9% of the time vote PRO.

And when they don't I write and request an explanation.

I once received a 3 page letter from Senator McConnell explaining his Yea vote on the Juvenile Justice Bill. It did not seem like a "form" letter either.

Must go now. Have to write them a big "Thank You".

Now if I could just get through to Representative Northup (R-Ky).

Thanks Again,

Sgt.K

The usual suspects. Meet the new Chaffee, same as the old Chaffee. I have Kerry and Kennedy here in MA. 'nuf said.

Gun Control: The proposition that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her own panty hose, is more acceptable than allowing that same woman to defend herself with a firearm.

We have two Republican Senators here in Ohio. Last May, BOTH of them voted in favor of the Lautenberg gun show ban amendment to S.254. That's the one that algore broke the tie on. If either of them had voted "NAY" algore would never have had that opportunity.

So much for Republicans supporting the Second Amendment. :(

I noticed that Voinovich voted against this non-binding resolution which supports the same bill that he voted FOR last May! WTF! Make up your mind!

Mr.DeWine will be getting another letter from me this week. That'll make two in three days.

John Warner is a SOB. The rules of decency which my parents taught me will preclude me from expressing my true feelings about this "gentleman". Suffice it to say that I am happy that I will soon reside in a different state.

And my Republican friends wonder why I didn't vote for this jackass during the 1996 re-election.

If your senator voted nay, thank them.
If they vote yes, tell them you will do
all possible to have them lose their next
election. There is just too many of us to
except this.

Hmm. If you consider this a "party" vote,
7 Republicans voted with the Democrats
1 Democrat voted with the Republicans.

At least our Texas Senators remember we are watching.... ;)

Either you believe in the Second Amendment or you don't.
Stick it to 'em! RKBA!

done...

You know, I went to the keep and bear arms auto mailer and sent my senators (WI- both voted yea) a letter... hope it makes a dent.

I was pretty disgusted with this. I also signed the postcards the NRA sent me, SO DID MY WIFE, they went out this morning.

Hopefully the PRO RIGHTS message will make its voice heard.

Gfrey, I call and write Kohl and Feingold constantly, even though I know it's a waste of time. I don't even have to look at the vote tally to know how they voted.

My nephew by marriage worked for Kohl after graduating law school last year. He actually thinks that Kohl is a _conservative_! That kid's got a looooonnnnngggg way to go.

Proud to say both of mine voted Nay. Bill Frist and Fred Thompson are solid pro-gun senators.

Bob Locke,
You are correct! However, John Warner is also a liar! I called his office and his people told me that he would vote Nay on "Sense of the Senate". Didn't supprise me to see that he voted in favor. This is not the first time he has sold us out. I would like to see the pro-2nd people in VA work to vote this liar out of office. I know I am going to do anything I can.
