First and foremost, make sure you have mastered the fundamentals of your preferred technique (i.e. grip, stance, etc.).
The most important and unappreciated part of a Glock is its trigger reset.
If you learn and understand the reset, you'd consider the Glock above and beyond many other semiautomatic pistols out there.
Two things must be done to appreciate and take advantage of the Glock's relatively short reset:
1) Take off the slack prior to squeezing your trigger
2) After you've squeezed the trigger and have released your shot, slowly allow the trigger to reset. The moment you hear the click, do not allow the trigger to travel forward.
Now take the shot again.
That's it. Now go get yourself a Glock and enjoy the kool aid.
