How to separate the mossberg 46b barrel and receiver

Ok, guys, what's the best way to seperate the barrel from the receiver on a Mossberg 46b. I have some rotational movement and want to fix it. This old rifle is a project of love. Thanks techrep
edit( the 65b was a slip of the finger- better on the keyboard than the trigger.)

AFAIK, those Mossberg barrels were just press fitted, with usually a pin or screw to keep the barrel in place. Unscrew any screws and drive out any pins and the barrel should come out. I say that so it sounds easy, but you might have to soak the joint in a penetrant and drive the receiver off the barrel, using a wood block to prevent battering.

Thanksfor the Tip

I understand that the barrel is a press fit. No pins are visable. A threaded stud is supposed fix the two. But receiver stud is secure and thats what threw me, as the barrel can rotate aprox .030. Not good. With so many changes to this series of 22's I thought to ask the experts for advise. Any help is welcomed...Vince
