How to remove the trigger on an SKS?

Now before you post to explain how to remove the trigger GROUP from an SKS, let me clarify that I want to know how to remove the trigger from the trigger group ... a MUCH more difficult thing ... I think.

It looks simple enough ... there is a pin (I think) that looks like it holds the trigger in place, but that pin appears to be quite resistant to a drift ... am I just not hitting it with enough authority?
