how to put a scope on a revolver?

I have a full size Rossi .357 revolver in stainless. Although I like this gun I find I don't use it since I got my Ruger sp101 for CCW. I think this gun would get more use if I mounted a scope on it and used it for target. About how much would it cost to get a mount put on it and a half decent scope? I know the question is vague but I don't know enough to make it less so. Any info appreciated.

does it have an adjustable rear sight ? sometimes S&W revolvers are drilled for scope mounting underneath the adjustable rear sight..Rossi might have done it also..hopefully :)

It does have an adjustable rear sight but only the front hole of the rear site is threaded. The back hole is kind of an open C shape. The elevation screw has a flat piece on the bottom that holds it in place.

I believe that's the same B-Square mount that works with S&W revolvers. It's Brownell's #122-200-010, @ $46.97, plus $3.95-or-so shipping. (With Brownell's trade discount.)
