How to keep it from getting old?

Hi, all,

A few months ago, I got a chance to poke some holes in some Q targets at close range in Florida with about four or five full auto guns. I had a good time, but I'm not sure what I'd get out of a return trip.

What do y'all do to develop your skill and keep it fun?

Thanks,

For subguns.

Shootin steel match stages...
Three rounds per plate, total 15 rounds per stage. Against the clock.

Same for IDPA course etc.

Sharpens your skills and doesn't fry barrels.

Just like pistols or any other martial arts training: accuracy drills, speed drills, mal drills, reloads, one hand drills, moving and grooving vs. single and multiple threats, then end with accuracy drills.

If you are simple like me, you enjoy the routine.:)

As Sam I Am, I like steel too.:)

Of course, there is always the TFL machine pistol drill: order room service, unload mag from suppressed smg into Tampa phone book, throw weapon under bed and then answer door!:D

Lots o' fun and always makes a sale!

I got a little bored with pistol and rifle shooting lately so I decided to speed up the pace.

Practice taking on multiple targets and trigger control.

I bring one of my subguns to the local IPSC maych. After shooting the match, I run the stages with a buzzgun. I find a double tap from a .45 faster on most stages - your results may differ. It does help to keep you sharp.
I also like subguns on steel.
