How to hide a Glock 19

I just purchased a Glock 19 for CC. (my 1st Glock, I wasn't really fond of them before) I got a Don Hume J168046R IWB RH snap on leather holster. It really imprints bad IMHO. My question is what would be a good holster to IWB carry the Glock 19?

Thanks, Hellbent

An IWB holster such as made by Milt Sparks. I have an ISP (IWB) from Del Fatti, that makes my G19 disappear quite nice like-- just behind the hip.

Lots of nice holsters out there. It's a matter of style. I like the IWB, though I use an FBI on occasion or even an Avenger style like the Milt Sparks 55BN.

Oh and I forgot to mention that I need it at a reasonable price, around $50ish. The other thing is I think the Don Hume holds the weapon too high past the waistband. I need something that carries it lower. My normal clothes are jeans and a t-shirt so it has to hide in that.

Thanks, Hellbent

When I Googled "Don Hume J168046R" only one hit came up; this thread. I don't think I've ever had that happen before. What's the "generic" name of the Don Hume holster that you're having difficulty with?

I don't really know the generic name...Sorry it's just what I bought off the shelf... Try # 36-4 RH or H715-m snap on open top

It is a right hand open top, snap on holster that claims "will fit: Glock 19, 23, 32, 36"

Looked on Don Hume and found nothing under the search function for "Glock 19"

I'm really discouraged as I've never owned a glock and bought this gun to replace a Kel-tec PF9 that was stolen and I'm considering selling it and going back to the kel tec! I was under the impression that "this is the most popular concealed gun in the area" and "everyone" conceals it "well."

I'm sorry I can't be more helpful, let me look... Hellbent

If you're on a tight budget, I recommend this guy:

He makes a Summer Special type IWB that's really good quality for the money, $40. I bought one from him a couple of years ago when I was hurting for cash and I was really impressed with the holster. And he delivers quick too.

Nowadays, I prefer an IWB holster with offset loops and I like the Canute from UBG.

I've got a couple of those and they're great but he gets $70 for them. If you have the extra money I highly recommend the UBG, but the ROG is a good value.

I have a K&D for my G23 it's a great holster, but you will have to wait about 4 months and it is around $65.00. Kevin is good to deal with, he will get back with you.

IWB doesn't work very well for me, even though I think it conceals better. I've finally given up and started using a Bianchi black widow. Combined with a slightly oversize shirt, it conceals as well as I could hope for. FWIW, shirts with some sort of print or pattern really help with concealment.

I've been carrying my G19 in a Comp-Tac C.T.A.C. for about six months. It hides under a T-shirt no problem.

I'm 6' 1" 210 lbs.

I carry it at just early of 3 O'Clock.
