How to do this if you don't have Wolverine's fingernails?

Finally got my "Cumberland" IWB holster for my SP-01. Monster holster it is too!! Very nice!

The metal clips that hold it in place, however, need a crow-bar to prise them open! How the heck does one put one of these IWB holsters in place without having to get undressed entirely?!

Feels like I'd need both hands to get them over the waist of my jeans, let alone my stiff gun belt!
 
you could heat them with a hair drier a tiny bit and flex them a tiny bit.

my cross bread and desaintis both get put on over the belt and they are snug going on. to get them off I pull my belt free.

you know the whole take my gun from my cold dead hand thing. now it get my holster from the laundry pile
