How to Carry a NAA .22 on my Wedding Day?

My fiance has hinted that he wants a NAA 22 magnum as a wedding present. I've been looking into these a little, and I'm trying to figure out which would be the best option. This will likely be a secondary, off-duty, carry for him. His hands are a little smaller than the average man, so I don't think the grips will be too big of a problem.

Any advice on which flavor I should get?

Also, I plan on giving this to him as a surprise when he goes to get my garter. I know these guns are tiny, but are they light enough to stay put through the ceremony and dancing tucked in the garter, or should I look into a leg holster?

Oh my good good god. Your fiance is a lucky man.
I have no advice on how to carry it, I just wanted to express my deep jealousy.

Over on the NAA forum the men seem to find the 22lr frame to have too small of a grip, but it's the one I use the most (I have the lr and the mag). I would suggest either the 22mag frame or the black widow with fixed sights. Either way, GET THE 22LR CONVERSION CYLINDER for cheap practice in addition to the mag cylinder. It costs alot more to add it later than to go ahead and get it. Mine didn't come with it and I really regret it.

You could sew a piece of elastic inside the garter to hold it. NAA sells tiny IWB holsters for about $10 but that might spoil the effect.

I like the garter presentation....you could always use a decorative ribbon to ensure it stays in place and can be released by a pull :D

However not being sure of you marriage location I would check local and stae laws... In Texas no guns in church. other laws for other locations...

If you cant do it in the garter.....

maybe a nice piece of lingere & stockings could hold it on the wedding night :o

your man is a lucky dawg......

Good advice. You may also consider having someone else hold it for you until just before the garter presentation. It would probably stay put for a few minutes but probably not all day. Good luck on your special day!

First off,it sounds like he`s a very lucky man. :) That said I think Jim has a good idea there. It would be embarrasing to have it fall out and get kicked across the dance floor. BTW I have one with the short barrel in .22 Mag. and I love it. I`ve carried it in a pocket holster almost everyday for years. It`s tiny but *LOUD*. :) Marcus

I see a couple of potential problems Lizzie.........
First, do you have a concealed carry permit?
Second, is it legal to carry in church in your state?
Unless you can answer these in the affirmative, I would suggest giftwrapping it, or giving it at another, less public time.

Whoa, lucky man indeed. He'll like that gun, I used to have one. I doubt it'd stay put on a garter while dancing etc., probably have to slip off to the ladies room and put it on right before giving it to him (letting him find it? :D ).
Unloaded for safety! Congratulations, good luck, God bless, and have fun.

Velcro closed nylon elastic peice about two inches wide on which a IWB holster is attached would work well. Just put the garter over it - he'll find it...

And yep, put in place just before the garter ceremony, unloaded and secured! Shouldn't cause any problems.

Congrats to you both!

a little thigh strap style holster on the *other* thigh... do the garter presentation, and say "Oh, darling, you're not done yet" and present the holster. IF and only IF this violates no standing state or federal laws, of course :)

And remember to throw couscous or other nonswelling grains instead of rice.... it's for the birds :)
