i just bught a romera holster for glock 19 and lcr 22. i carry both(chambered) sometimes. how safe are both guns if i would drop them on their back somehow.

Glock should be safe with the trigger and firing pin safeties in place...

Don't know about the LCR, but revolvers are usually very safe if uncocked: zero tension on the hammer.

That is my understanding. May be wrong.

Both guns are completely safe to carry fully loaded and will not discharge if dropped unless multiple internal parts are broken.

Both of your guns, like nearly all modern and well made guns are drop safe. For what it's worth, lots of instructors (Kathy Jackson for one) advise against the use of clip-less holsters. The Ramora holsters seem like they would make excellent pocket holsters but I would be weary of using one IWB.

The remora is quite well suited for IWB carry, actually. I love mine, I can wear it in pajamas and sweatpants if I want. I do have to tie the drawstring in said garments, though, my carry is a steel 6 shot 357, fairly heavy. It stays in place VERY well, even while running and getting in and out of cars.

Yes they are safe to carry loaded and won't fire if dropped. If you do carry, do use a holster made for the specific gun and covers the trigger.

WRT the Glock, you should examine the internals. Without the trigger being pulled, the striker would have to batter it's way through the firing pin block, which is a quarter inch of steel. Ain't happening. It's drop safe.

Both guns are as safe as you are, possibly a bit safer.

However, I consider the GLock mechanically safe, ONLY if nothing can pull the trigger. It is extremely unlikely, but not impossible, if something gets in the triggerguard, and pressing in that little trigger activation switch that they call a safety, it could press the trigger enough to fire the gun.

A holster that covers the trigger is an absolute MUST for guns like that.

Both are as safe as the owner.

You could probably drop the Glock off your roof onto concrete with no discharge (DO NOT TRY/DISCLAIMER/ETC).
