How often do you go to the range and how many rounds do you shoot ??

Not often enough of course. I have a good problem to have..too many to choose from in too many calibers,so I have learned to not take more than 2 calibers and 4 pistols at a time. And I likewise do at least 200 rounds or so through them. I used to drag about 6 or 7 with me,and you talk about a cleaning party when you get home. I don't mind the cleaning, but I am kinda anal about cleaning them before I put them up so it makes alot of work for me,so I have resorted to fewer at a time..works for me...PJ

i try to shoot at least once a week. if i can keep that schedule i shoot my primary weapon every other week and my backup on the alternate weeks. i try to shoot a least a box of fifty or more through each gun when i shoot. i try to alternate standing flatfooted on the line shooting with some barrier shooting and shooting from my car window, reactive targets, shooting on the move, ect. of course i do this outside and because of that i do more of this type of shooting in good weather. during bad weather i shoot more indoors and as a result i can not be as creative inside.
in addition i carry one of several .22's and fill out my range sessions with several hundred rounds of .22.
at least once a month i take my 4006 to the range, as it shoot cast bullets well, and burn up several hundred .40 auto handloads.

Ever since I divorced Kalifornia I don't go to "ranges". I just blow stuff up 10 minutes from the house. Best Regards, J. Parker

I used to go 2-3 times a week shooting on the average 900 rounds total. Most of which were .45 acp's.

Now a days, I only have time to go once a week. I shoot 200 rounds with my carry gun and 300-400 with more other guns. I always shoot my carry gun last.

Every Sunday, 400 rounds.

Not often enough. Usually with 2 guns. Often a .22 and a larger caliber - 9mm, .45ACP, or.357. Usually between 150 - 300 rounds depending on how many guns and what caliber. Used to go every 2 weeks, lately it's been once a month. I need to get my priorities straight and get out at least once a week.

I shoot about 200 rounds a day almost every day. Usually 9M, 45acp, 32acp, 38spl or .22. Seldom shoot 44mag, 357mag or .25acp.

My glock 19 service pistol. 200 rounds a month at SRT traing and as much on my own a as possible. No target stooting. All shooting on the move, barricade, multiple targets, holster work. Now with my MK II about 1500 rounds a month mostly at steel plates.

I try to practice once a week and shoot some type of competition (IDPA, Bullseye, Pins, IPSC, etc.) twice a month. I usually take one or two of my guns to practice and shoot about 300-400 rounds per session but the first 50 rounds are always from my carry gun.

I try to go to the range every weekend. I try to fire at leas 300 rounds.(ammo supply permitting)

I go to the range every weekend early in the morning, very rare that I don't.

Weather is a factor in Florida. Gloomy days I do the police pistol range. Ususlly 200-250 rounds. I normally take just one Beretta.

Nice mornings I'm at the rifle range first, trying to put all the rounds through 1 hole... ;-) 20 to 30 rounds max. Then I hit the pistol range.

I wish I had more time to shoot. A Sunday and Wednesday would be nice!

Try to at least once a week (depending on weather/closings). I hand load so sometimes the only thing holding me back is not having anything loaded up. I take anywhere between 2-6 guns. I shoot anywhere between 100 to 300 rounds, or so per session (this is using handguns). I clean the guns the same day, or no later than the next day.

I try to get to the range 2-3 time per month, at least 200 rounds per trip. That is unless I've brought the boys with me (8 & 4). If that is the case then I'm too busy reloading 10/22 mags to shoot much myself. :D

1-2 times a month if I am lucky...Here in Jersey it is hard to find a range (especially in South Jersey), and it is expensive, especially for the public ranges. The private ranges are a fortune too.

2-4 times a week, shooting from 150 to 200 rounds a session. Rotate my guns although I usually end up with my carry .45 acp Colt or Kimber.

I try to go to the range every other week (payday weekend) I take 2-3 pistols and fire a minimum of 50 and sometimes 100 or more rounds through each. I don't reload so the cost of feeding them is a limitation. The recent purchase of a .22LR conversion will help with the ammo budget and may lead to more range visits :D

I try to go twice a month, weather permitting. I usually shoot about 150-200 rounds if I can get the reloader warmed up properly :D But I usually "shoot" about 50-100 "snapcaps" a day too. Killed alot of BGs on the tv. :D

The range I shoot at has a 7 week league competition year round with prizes and a BBQ given every 8th weekend and a week in between starting a new league. So I usually shoot at least twice a week. I recently started shooting IDPA there and looking into shooting with the NRA Action pistol club that also uses this particular range.

League shooting is fun. One week you could be shooting steel pepper poppers or falling plates to bowling pins or paper. Sometimes the paper target is stapled with the white side out so you have no aiming point to look for or may be obscured with a no-shoot area. Makes for some interesting shooting and strategy and helps hone those motor skills.

Ohh.. league shooting is normally 50 rounds and I usually shoot 100-150 rds per trip to the range reguardless. More if I tote along my 22.

I was going to the range two to five times a week until July, when I had some business problems. Got out there yesterday, and will try to get out at least twice a week from here on out. Usually shoot 100 rounds of .45, and once in awhile 60 rounds of rifle (ten rounds, clean thoroughly, ten rounds, clean, etc). I'd probably shoot more rounds through the pistol if it weren't for the lengthy conversations I get into with the guys at the range.
