How much is it worth?

My dad is selling a Colt Mustang Mark IV Series 80, he asked me what I thought it was worth and i have no idea. Its in great condition and hasn't been shot much at all. What should he ask for it? I saw some similar ones on gunbroker and gunsamerica going for around $600. thanks for your help
 
Gunbroker and gunsamerica are great resourses IF and only IF you follow the auctions to the conclusion . They give a fair day to day valid price by the price the auctions close at ( if you average then to toss out both " bargins " and " psycos " . I would track a few auctions myself to establish a median value for the pistol that reflects what is actually given rather than some " blue book " value that may or may not have much reality for sales today . Ill also note that i personally expect the value of concealable pistols to pace ar-15s and other evel black rifles in the coming months , and possibly surpass them depending on the new legeslators and administration .
