How much bullet drop at 100 yards .22lr

I would like to know if anyone knows about how much bullet drop acurs for a .22 lr at 100 yards if the rifle is zeroed at 50.
I recently got my first 10/22 and am having so much fun with it I've almost forgotten about the other things in my safe.

Bullet drop depends on many factors - muzzle vel., bullet weight, ballistic coefficient, etc. Without additional info, the following are some approximations:

1200 fps = -5.8"
1100 fps = -6.8"
1000 fps = -8.3"
 
My 10-22T is sighted dead on at 50 yards and it shoots almost exactly 6" low at 100 with Winchester Super-X HP.

How about 200 yards? I have a Remington 40X .22LR that (on a calm day) I shoot out to 200 with good luck. Heck I have not even sighted it in at 200 it is sighted for 100. I just do Kentucky elevation :)

Mal H- I have no idea, the ammo is gov. issue Remington. I do not think it is anything special. Just the cheapest 22LR the state of Kentucky could buy.

Then let's assume the vel. is right at the speed of sound - 1120 fps. If you zero at 100 yds, the drop will be around 35" at 200 yds for a 40 gr bullet, give or take a few inches.
 
Daren - just for the heck of it, I refined the numbers by working backwards using a CCI 40 gr Standard Vel. to figure out the ballistic coefficient which was the missing ingredient in the previous calculation. So at the same vel. as before, 1120 fps, it looks like the drop is closer to 37" at 200 +- 1". That's still in the range I originally quoted, but it should get you closer with fewer shots. If you notice that you are not getting a sonic "crack" with your ammo, add a few more inches.
 
Malvern Ohio range has 200 rd 22 shoots 3x year, the comeup varies with ammo. In my Anchutz:
pmc target 36 - 39" depending on lot(2 - 4" groups)
remington std vel 34 - 36"( 2"-3" groups}
federal 711 32"
eley ( all types ) 32 - 38" (6"groups)
I used the 711 for most matches and it would group 1 1/2"
Use rear riser block with a Redfield International sight, another 45 - 50 MOA and you can shoot 300yds

Note: shooting 200 with a 22 is equivalent to 1000yds with hipower rifle - much more sensitive to wind!!!!!!!!!
