How much are these two guns worth?

WIth entirely unscheduled acquisitions of two .45s and a shotgun, I am looking to let go of two guns which closely duplicate others that I already own.

One is a S&W2206 target pistol with two 12-round and one 10-round magazines.

The other is a S&W49-2 Bodyguard.

Both are in good condition and have been checked out by Smith & Wesson recently. I am not quite sure how much to ask.

Oleg, How much are you asking for the 2206? I've been interested in something like that recently.

I've been looking to trade a Beretta 92FS Inox with Rosewood grips (and originals)w/3 hi-caps & original 10 rounder for a .22 semi auto target pistol of some type if that makes a difference.

Anarchism: The radical notion that I am the sole authority when it comes to deciding what's best for me.

I paid $245+tax for this pistol and two pre-ban 12-rounders. I spent another $25 on the extra 10-rounder. It then sent it to S&W and had it worked on and tuned to where it is reliable. Having invested $270+time into it, I hoped to get at least the initial $245 back and chalk the rest up to learning experience.

92FS has been on my list of guns to buy. What is "Inox"?

Since I am selling the .22 to defray costs on other purchases, I am not sure how wise it would be for me to trade, but let's say that I am nuts and would do it. Would you take an S&W Bodyguard which I also wanted to sell in trade on that Beretta along with the 22? The Bodyguard, BTW, also got a S&W reconditioning recently.

Drop me an email.

PS: I forgot to mention: compare that 2206 to S&W current batch of .22s -- quite a difference in quality and materials! The new guns are about as accurate but they foul up very fast and the two samples I have fired couldn't go fifteen rounds w/o failures to feed or extract...

It's a stretch, Oleg, but I can imagine it. ;)

I think Inox is the stainless version. Purty. If I had cash I'd offer it on the 2206. I don't. I think you're pretty reasonable at around $250 as long as the gun still shoots well but that's MHO and others will know more.

Oleg I'd be happy to trade even up for the pair. The Inox is the stainless version as Gwinny said and looks good with the wood grips. Just drop me an e-mail with all your info, and we'll work out the details.

Oh, BTW, The gun has just over 500 rds. through it and is practically NIB (I've got the original box, etc...

The Beretta 92FS Inox is beautiful. I'm not quite sure what the Inox actually stands for but it looks and feels like stainless. I believe the model you are referring to has night sights and rubber grips. If so, it's the same one as mine and it fires like a dream. When I bought mine, I made one modification and that was replacing the plastic grips with the rubber grips Bereta supplied.
If you like the 92 series Beretta pistols, you'll love the 92FS Inox.

Inoxidable is Spanish for stainless and French is very similar with inoxydable. I don't speak italian, but linguistically it is usually somewhere between the French and the Spanish. Inox is also a French (European?) trademark for a stainless steel.
Sounds like a deal.
