I try to keep 1000 rounds loaded for each caliber I load for. I have 9mm, 40 S&W, 45 ACP and 44 Mag.

At any given time I have at least one unopened case of 7.62x39 simply because that is the one thing I can never leave a show without.

My favorite headline during the election: "While Gore supporters are protesting in the streets, Bush supporters are buying ammunition." :D

Oh, about 12K rounds of the 24 different calibers I shoot...

But, since you're my mom, you should already know that! :D

Gewehr98-

Actually, while "mutter" in German is "Mother" in English, "mutter" also means "nut." The "Gun Nut" is what I was leaning towards more......:D

I know I have about 35 to 40 thousand rounds of handgun, rifle, and shotgun ammo under my bench.:) What can I say I like to reload.;)

ammo quanity

i reload for .44 mag., .45ACP, .40 *&*, .357 mag., .38spl., and 9MM. i have a total of just over 6000 rounds with the 9MM and the .38 spl. comprising about 4000 of the count. i have about 500 rounds of each of the others. i am looking for more .40 *&*brass 'cause i just got a G27 and intend to shoot the .40 more.

being a poor boy - not nearly as much as I'd like! -

A box of .30 carbine and a brick of .22 lr

Half a box of 9mm, 30.06, 12 ga,

a couple of rounds of .35 rem and a single .410.

Someday when I get a job and ahead of the bills (That'll be the day!) I'll be able to buy ammo the way I should.

6000--a lot more a few years ago...

....when I was married to my first wife. Being around her was boring so I reloaded a lot more :)

I have since married a woman who likes to shoot and is fun to be around. Now my reloading doesn't go as far as it used to and I don't like hanging around the reloading bench as much as I did before;)

Thanks for the post. It reminds me that I need to attend to some ammo making/buying I've been putting off.

Currently on hand:

2800 rnds 9mm
1800 rnds .357
1300 rnds 40cal (fixing to reorder)

have not inventoried my .22 stocks

What can I say, I'm compulsive, either need to buy guns or ammo, sometimes both. Still cheaper than fishing once you factor in the bass boat and dually to pull it, not to mention the cabin at the lake (been there, done that).

Almost enough. Once I counted rounds. Then I counted boxes. Now I count by the case. The more I have, the more I shoot. There has always been a shortage in my house.

And I don't know how many fish hooks I have either.

Currently on hand..
hmmm

1. Box of 3 inch 12 ga #4's
1. Box CCI Mini Mag .22
1/2 Box 9mm FMJ's
2 Hi Power mags full of 9mm
1 Box of Hornady 9x18 jhps' +2 mags
assorted bullets from God knows where.
12 rounds of assorted .45 auto

What can I say?...I'm lucky to have that on hand!:D

My problem is that I get stocked up really good and end up shooting it all at the range in one day.

Once I start reloading again I'll become a fire hazard once more!:D
