How much 4 the P22

My buddy picked one up a few days ago---I didn't catch the exact price---I think it was in the high $200 to like $309 range.

He got the compensated model. It looks like a mini P99---no range reports yet. You can see what they look like on the Walther site.

Yes---they do exist.

I had placed an order for a First Edition for $329 last March (still waiting of course).

Recently enquired about a 5" that are now here from another dealer in the past month. His price is $269. Still waiting on that too. Even gave him Earl's number (he initially checked with &, they were behind also).

I bought the long-barreled target model at Outdoor America in Oklahoma City. Cost was $241.91 + tax.

It is really a joy to shoot--DA/SA--a small gun, but yet it has a full grip. Also has the two different backstrap inserts (like the P99) so you can tailor it to fit your hand.

I have only taken it to the range once and shot around 150 rounds with zero problems.

Now to CLEAN it. With the barrel extension, disassembly may be a chore. This gun is a fantastic bargain--I bet Walther sells a jillion of them. :D

Dealer Cost

On 'onesies' is 260 from Davidsons so 310 would be a fair price. THEY ARE SO CUTE !.....that was for the 5 inch brrl. I'm gona' wait till they come out with a 2 brrl. set....dewey

I've seen the long barrel for $241 + tax. Does anyone know if they have released the short barrel or the "first edition" yet?

People have allegedly been able to get it for $189. I would jump on one of these for that price.

Got mine for 259, and Earl's has the short barrel. First Edition not in yet, and I have been told that only 1000 will be let in.

I just picked mine up today for $239. To be honest, the pistol looks cheaply made and very fragile. I have not had a chance to shoot it yet so hopefully I will become more endeared to it at that time.

Here is a question. With the pistol on safe, will the trigger still work in both DA and SA mode? Mine does.

Paid 286 for the 5 inch, which is not compensated. The extension just LOOKS like a comp. Barrel and sleeve are not cut. Adds perceptible weight, though, to counter barrel rise.
Disassembly is cake. Extension has a setscrew on top, just aft of the front sight, plus the two on the side below the barrel.

As noted, Earl's has the 3.4 inch barrel kit for 60 bucks plus S&H. If you get one with the 3.4 inch, the 5 inch kit is 75 plus S&H.

Works for me.

Picked up a 5 inch Target last weekend for $259 plus the Governor's cut. Shot about 200 rounds last weekend, no problems. Found the trigger a bit heavy with lots of creep in SA. Will probably take it to the smith for a bit of a tune.
Take Care
