Hmm. Home burglarized twice. Found one of the guitars myself in a music store as well as the name of the person who sold it to them. Couldn't get the "investigator" to do anything about a search warrant to look for the rest of my property (including a 1953 Belgium made Browning Light Twelve). Pickup truck broken into and an old pristine Fabrique Nationale High Power stolen (serial number 47712) Finally got the police to put it into the stolen gun database after a couple of years of telling them that I was having police friends in other jurisdictions check and it was STILL not in there. My furniture store was broken into a few times. Nothing approaching an investigation ever seen.

Never. I was in one situation where two "gentlemen" decided I wasn't too their liking. I was unarmed and just getting back from a law school formal. I got out of it by bowing and scraping and acting submissive. It didn't get physical, as all they were looking for was a quick dominance fix. If they had tried anything, I would have gone down fighting but would have gone down nonetheless. All I could think about was my Sig in my room 50 yards away! Last chance that will ever happen. Even when I'm not carrying a firearm, my CRKT Apache is ALWAYS with me (unless I'm in court).

I was housesitting one time and accidentally set off the alarm. Cops showed up about 15 minutes later. Gee, great response time.
