How many Ruger .22 Mk4s are there?

I keep reading about the new EZ takedown hinge barrel pistol and they call it a Mk4.

I have an earlier one that is a Mk4

Well, it's a Mk4B, but shoot I thought it was a MkIII all the time.
But the box says ....4

:confused::confused:

upside down of course..... :o

Not showing a MK-IV

Send a photo of the left side. I think that will show some features of the Mk 4
What you are showing, is clearly not a MK-IV. Might be an MK4 box?? To Date, have only seen three variations of the MK-IV; the Hunter, a blues target and a 22/45. The MK-IV's are easily recognizable from either side. ...... ;)

Be Safe !!!

Omaha is correct. That is a MK II, not a MK IV. It is a four inch barreled MK II, and the model is MK4. These are somewhat rare.

Even though I've had it quite a while, I had to do some searching and it took a while to find it.
I just thought the stubby barrel was cool.

It is a very accurate lil thing. :)

Surprising that Ruger would make a model number be "MK"
Considering that the variations are "Mk" ....and numbers.

I'll bet the "B" is for "Bull."

Questions

Lavan,
Does you left side grip panel, have a thumb rest? Also, did you add that after market front sight or did you buy it that way? ......

Left has thumb shelf and it is COMFY! :)

Added that sight but removed and went back to the stock one because it gives me a better sight picture.

I grew up on bullseye and I guess that's what I shoot best.

I do have a fiber optic on my S&W 66.
