How many in your PT-22?

So I bought a Taurus PT-22 at an auction. (See post in general discussion.) I'm really having a good time shooting that little gun. It's relatively accurate and reasonably reliable. (Don't think I'd want it as primary carry.) Anyway the "advertised" capacity of the magazine is 8, but I have no trouble getting 10 in it. It runs just fine with 10. Do I have an "after market" mag or . . . ?

Life is good.

Mine is the fantastic plastic model 22PLY. Never tried to put more than eight in the mag. Fun shooter, but don't intend to carry it. Just bought it as a cool, and interesting little plinker. Shoots great, and accuracy surprised me. Fun little guns.

Same here with the 22-PLY,,,

Same here with the 22-PLY,,,
I can only fit 8 rounds n the magazine.

Which is surprising as it takes the same mag as the PT-22.

This is a head-scratcher fer surely.

Just tried my PT22PLY, eight is all both mags will hold. They are a fun little pistol. Plenty accurate out to 7 yards, but you start noticing inaccuracy at 10 yards. Never shot it any further than 10. I do pocket carry mine during the summer months. It now has over 600 rounds without a failure using CCI Mini Mags. Mine shoots a bit to the left, but easily compensated.
