How is Win 9422 mag attached?

Never noticed before, but added a tubular mag QD sling swivel and notice free play in the mag tube. Side to side not lengthwise.
Seems well anchored and not like threads screwing and unscrewing but more like a loosely pinned setup. Only moves about 1/16th turn from lock to lock.
How is the 9422 mag tube attached?

9422 magazines are attached the same as a model 94: the barrel is attached to the receiver and has a notch in it about 10" from the receiver. The rear barrel band / handguard barrel band has a screw that goes all the way through the handguard to hold the barrel band and magazine tube in place. The barrel and the mag tube both have a notch in them at that point where the screw goes through. The barrel won't move, so the magazine tube won't come out, but sometimes they wiggle a bit.

I don't think I'd want a sling attached to a magazine tube on a Winchester or any rifle like that. Possibilitys of bent tubes, torn off tubes and all kinds of fun.
