Just thought Id bring this up again we will soon be at the mid point of the year and was wondering if everyone had managed to acquire the required one gun a month so far and planned for the rest.......I know Im currently at 7 and working hard at trying to afford my allotted 3 garands and one receiver a year......dont give up now...fubsy.

Been a slow first half year for work so only one so far. I've got the next six planned. Bought lots of cases of ammo though. :)

just sold a couple to put down paynent on new truck for the missus. however monday starts a new month........time to browse

Are you sure it was one per month? I thought it was one per week! If your're not just kidding around I guess I'm OK to about March 2001. :o What a relief - I thought I had really screwed up by buying the missus a coffee pot at Christmas instead of that new Sig I knew she really wanted.

Nuts. I bought 2 blackpowder rifle kits, both for gifts and I'm assembling one right now. The other will be given as a kit and shouldn't count towards my 12.

I've got two Mosin Nagant snipers on order (Tula & Ishevsk) and will order two Garands before the price rises. One Garand will be butchered to take a spare M84 scope, pistol grip stock and a compensator (or flash hider). That 12 gun a year is a pretty tough limit to reach.

I got two new guns in two days a couple weeks ago. One Browning A-Bolt II Stainless Stalker .300 Win Mag, and one Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag turkey gun.

And I'm still behind . . . . .

Yep its hard to do, but if thats the mandate Ill try keep up at least for this year....sheesh.......but still no matter how hard it is to purchase one a month, Idont want to be limited in my purchases....I often purchase firearms simulaneously,,,2 or three at a time and occasionally on a layaway set up .........fubsy.

I'm a little behind, but I still have 8 gallons of change to go before I can have that Creedmore that I want.

But all in all, here it is month # 5 and I'm only 2 behind. :)

Well, I'm trying, but I am getting a little worried ...

If we get to December 31, and still haven't bought one per month, is the penalty still the same? I know this is serious business, but that weekend with Rosie O'Donnell sure seemed like 'cruel and unusual' to me. ;)

I'm running a little behind :( I just heard on the radio that there is a proposal in the Illinois legislature to give the poor cell phones, pre-programmed to dial 911. This gave me the idea of hitting the legislature up for a grant to keep up with the one gun a month program they so heartily support :)

I'm working on getting a DCM Garand right now, but I'm still a few guns behind.

I was falling behind, but I'm back after the show in Richmond last weekend.

Picked up a nice Hardballer .45 for a good price. Next show's at the end of May, so I should keep on schedule.

My wife and I are falling behind...only bought one gun last month (she got a Kel-Tec P40).

However, my M4 is on order and should be here soon...found out that military NCO/Officers fit within the BATF regulations for LEO "deadly assault cosmetically featured rifles"...

I'm a bit ahead of schedule. 7 guns in the last 4 or 5 months.

Or was it 8?

Shoot, to be honest, I think it may have even been an even 10!

In all fairness, two or three of these were from trades. :D
