There are extremist authoritarians who have exposed their dishonesty and woken up the sleeping giant of the freedom minded American public. Nothing motivates someone more than the fear of loosing their rights, even if they aren't used to asserting them. Every one of us should be thankful that dishonest and disingenuous people like this exist because, otherwise, there would be little motivation to fight encroachments on our rights.

I would agree with you more if the vast majority of low-info voters didn't respond so well to emotional appeals and that 8+ of the 50 states in our country are implementing new AWBs most likely. Cali, oregon, washington, colorado, new jersey, Connecticut, new york, illinois.

Actually, WA and Oregon AWB's are functionally dead at this point and have no support. There's massive backlash in Colorado already and if it passes the house and senate and is signed, it'll be overridden by the supremes or repealed when the new politicians get voted in. Those outcomes are a given. Those other states are dead ducks until the supreme court overturns the laws in one state which would cause an automatic repeal of the others.
