How does the finish hold up on 442?

Now that I've traded my 60 in, I'm curious to know how the anodized finish holds up. My old 36 showed bluing wear on the backstrap after a few years.....is anodized better?

NOT SO GOOD

A friend of mine got rid of one, only last week, because of a failing finish. Finish was failing at the edges of the side plate. :(

Mine has been in and out of both a leather Galco Ankle Glove, and a leather pocket holster. The anodizing has rubbed off of the left front leading edge of the trigger guard, the bottom front corner of the frame under the yoke, and on the lefthand edge(corner) of the topstrap. The grip frame has worn boot grips since I've had it(4yrs?), and is completely intact. IOW, holsters seem to be the worst culprit.:)

Mine has been through just about everything in the last couple years, and it shows the rigors of carry. But overall the finish is still there, around the edges it shows use.
Kinda adds flavor to it though.

All you all talking about this finish?
