How does CZ75 barrel lockup work?

Am I correct in the understanding that the top of the barrel locks into the slide and the bottom lug locks into the frame?

The lock-up is a Browning style lock-up, similar to the 1911 and P35. The rails are just reversed and full length.

It locks up the same way that the 1911 does; the top of the barrel has grooves and ridges that lock into corresponding grooves and ridges in the the slide. The "lug" on the bottom of the barrel that you speak of is just the cam that forces the chamber end of the barrel up into or down out of those grooves, the same way that the Hi-Power does.
