J Jim V New member Jun 21, 2002 #2 Take slide off the frame, remove the rear sight, shake out plunger and spring, replace rear sight, put slide back on frame. No more magazine safety. VWP, ONVIAL, NWEI, YMMV, CCBS, LS/MFT and TttAF

D Dfariswheel New member Jun 21, 2002 #4 As an addition to the above: As I recall, there are two spring loaded plungers under the rear sight. The one on the right is the firing pin lock, the one on the left is the mag safety plunger. Remove the one on the LEFT.
