How do you get a schofield? Does anyone know of a gunstore in the Houston or maybe even the East Texas area that regularly carries Schofields?

http://www.uberti.com/firearms/top-break.tpl

The only local gunstore here in Houston that I know of that carries those old black powder and cowboy guns is out of the 7 inch uberti s&w schofield and they told me it takes MONTHS for them to come in, if ever. (They are having to deal with an italian company half the planet away)

It didn't check it out very well, but The Bullet Hole in Omaha www.thebh.com had a clean looking used one for sale last Friday.

They do out of state sales all the time.

Good Luck...

I didn't mention one important fact, ONLY buy the Uberti manufactured Schofield. ASM-Armi San Marcos manufactured some and they were dangerous, unsafe to shoot and universally defective. These sold under EMF, IAR, Traditions, Cimmaron, Navy Arms and American Western Arms brands. Ubertis are good to go.
