In the exact same place I carry while working full-time LE: On my left hip. That way, there's never any confusion on my part where my hand needs to go should the need arise. Of course, when off duty, my "emergency management equipment" rides under my shirt in a leather IWB from FIST holsters.
I carry at 4-5o'clock position. Sometimes IWB, sometimes OWB, depending on dress. I've been going OWB a lot lately, but am moving back to IWB again. I tried to get a pic last night, but turns out my camera flash isn't working anymore :/
My daily carry is a revolver and I always carry in a Don Humebelt slide worn crossdraw at the 3:00 position (I'm right-handed). This allows me to carry my speedloaders on my strongside for quick reloads.
Right now I carry at about 2 o'clock, IWB in a cheapie $20 generic holster. For me it's more comfortable and concealed than on the hip or behind my back, and I feel like I have better control of the gun - I can tell if someone is looking at it or something. Although it is somewhat disconcerting to have a gun pointed directly at my junk...
