How do tac teams carry 1911s?

I have read that a number of special ops type teams continue to use 1911s. How do they carry these guns in condition 1 safely. I carry with a 1911 with an open top holster, but I know that wouldn't work if I was trying to perform tasks such as repelling, swimming, etc. I have often read that safety straps on holsters for 1911s disengage the safety to often for them to be worthwhile. Your thoughts?

Condition 1 Carry

This is the standard, for LE teams anyway, as most agencies have specific requirements for the weapon, at minimum a frame mounted safety and a grip safety. Further, the agency will usually prohibit modification of the weapon's safety features to include pinning the grip safety.

Contemporary carry systems for the weapon will usually have at least two methods of retention, perhaps a tension adjustment in the body of the holster in addition to a retention strap or a strap in addition to a flap which covers the grips of the firearm.
