How do I take the barrel off my vz52?

I've seen a YouTube movie where a guy field strips his and takes the barrel of buy his didn't have a bayonet on it. The ring that holds the barrel on mine seems to catch on the bayonet when I try to push in the button and slide the ring that holds down the barrel.
