Found an ad in the local paper last night and called this morning.
Bought a Winchester Model 94 in 45 LC. Unfired, with a 24 inch barrel, but no box. $285.00 in a private sale.
I wouldn't ordinarily buy a rifle in this caliber, but I already own a Ruger Black Hawk in 45 LC.
Does anyone have any idea as to range and what this rifle may be capable of? I'm thinking maybe a 100 yards at max. Would that be about right?
