How Big Guns Work

I just ran across a website that some might enjoy, which has the Naval Ordnance and Gunnery manual from 1957. I have studied the large caliber guns, and this takes care of the Navy, up to 16" bore. There are some printed for the Army elsewhere, for ground artillery, and they do work slightly different in places. However, any Navy vets, etc, on here might like this book too, it's in two PDF files.

Naval Ordnance and Gunnery, 1957 is qualitative and easy to read.

My father designed guns with a copy of Hayes Elements of Ordnance 1938.
It is quantitative and reads like 400 level analog engineering, with math.. it is hard to read.
