How are you guys liking your single 7's?

I think I am up to about 300 rounds through mine.
She is starting to smooth out real nice. I also noticed the tight loading gate is loosing up a bit. Much easier to unload the spent casings. May not need to send it back.

So far the best shooting load I have tried is LEE 100gr rn ahead of 3.4 gr of Unique in 32 mag cases.

Another good one is same bullet ahead of 2.4 gr of Trail Boss in 32 S&WL cases.

All loads came out the gate shooting on line but about 1.5 inches high.
Adjusted to rear sight and now am shooting out a 1 inch bull at 25 feet.:D
Happy camper.

:p Ha, you post this like a slew of folks on these forums have run out and bought the Lipsey's Single Seven. :D I bet the lion's share of folks who stumble on to this thread don't even know what it is.

Neat gun, but not my style. I have a lot of fun with my 4.2-inch 7-shot GP-100 however.

But I enjoy any/all discussion on this fun chambering. Except the maroons who stroll out some version of the "answer to a question blahblahblah...." drivel.

Someone is going to -YELL- at you for not posting pictures.

I was kind of intrigued by these at first and wondered how cheaply one could reload for it (some claiming as or nearly as cheap as 22LR). But for me, by the time I figure in the gun, reloading equipment and components, it's cheaper for me to reload my .40's and .45's. Now if you've already got the .32 cal stuff, you're set! I'm sure many of the .32 fans will love this one.

I've got the 5.5 and the 4.62 but have not shot either one yet. I will have Monday and Tuesday of next week off and maybe will have time to shoot some then. I'm hoping to get the 7.5 also to have one of each. Although I have not shot the Singles yet I have been using a Blackhawk in 327 for some years and find it a very versatile caliber. Can load from very heavy to very light. I can load cheaper than the cost of shortage priced 22's. This has become my plinking revolver since 22's went through the roof. I load a 78 grn home cast bullet over a light charge of Unique at about 900-1000fps that is minute of soda pop can at 25 yrds for plinking. Have shot 1000's of these. I like a 85 grn XTP over a healthy dose of IMR4227 or #9 for night stand or totin duty.
