Houston TX Riflesmith

Anyone have any input on riflesmiths in the Houston area? Looking to build a 6.5-284(or something) and rebarrel a 300WM as well as rechamber to AI and K on a few others. Any input would be quite handy. Recently moved to the area and have yet to develop new contacts.

There are a bunch of folks that do this out in the hill country. I know whenever I drive from Houston to Austin I pass a couple of places on 290.

I remember seeing ads for this type of service in Rifle magazine. Accuracy international or something like that.

Howard Dietz in New Braunfels for benchrest and accuracy work.
Dietz is a reknowned precision gunsmith on hwy 46 about 20mi West of NB. Call him before making the trek. Dietz Gunshop an 830 a/c #. Also has a shooting range and holds numerous sanctioned competitions there.
