After a fender bender the two drivers fired at each other. A bystander was hit.

The violence erupted around 2:40 p.m. in the 11800 of Westheimer when two vehicles were involved in a minor crash. Investigators said the drivers of the vehicles got into an argument, during which both suspects pulled out guns and started firing at each other.

During the exchange, police said a stray bullet penetrated the windshield of a third vehicle and hit an innocent 30-year-old woman. She was taken to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in stable condition.

One of the drivers — who has been identified as a 27-year-old man— was also shot.

Sadly, I m not surprised

What is it about 20 something males and automobiles........Oh ya never mind I can remember when I was 20.
But a shootout??? C'mon it is possible to have good judgement and high Testosterone....at the same time.
 
Well chalk one up for the anti CC talking points . They are going to have fun with this one in the senate when they take up the CC reciprocity bill .
 
I doubt it. The only reason this made the news at all, as far as I can see, is that a TV news camera crew happened to be in the area when it happened.

I don't think there are any lessons for us in this; not every incident involving guns is worthy of discussion here, as shown by the comments so far: "idiots" ... "expensive" ... "testosterone" ...
