Houge Comp Stock

I have one on my Rem 870. It is the best shotgun stock out there if you are interested in reducing recoil. I was just telling someone the other day how I went through about 350 brenneke slugs (also 100 #4 buck) and walked away without a bruise or pain in the world. It also allowed me to recover in half the time it took before. I love my Hogue Comp stock.
I will tell you dont think twice about it, get it ;)

P.S. The guys at the range thought that I liked pain cause I was going through so many slugs so quikly :D

where did you purchase yours? Houge sells it through their site for $140 (if I remember correctly) for the stock and forend. Anybody know of a cheaper source?

Knoxx Industries sells an improved version of the compstock. It is the compstock hardsleeve and it also has a soft start cam. The soft start cam reduces recoil for light loads like trap in adition to the regular reduction it does for heavy buckshot loads. The hardsleeve is to make the stock more durable for law enforcment and not fragile like the rubber cover. Knoxx has it on sale for only $99! Considering it is superior to the origonal compstock, that's a great bargin.
