Im sure those of you that watch Fox news and or CNN heard about a hostage situation down here in Ga earlier this week, well it happened in my home town
. I was up monday morning at 10:00am going to work at a friends barn for the day. To get out there i have to drive right by the court house( next to where the lawyer office is.) When i get 2 blocks away i realize something is going down in my sleepy college town. I found out about noon what was going on. I never would have thought anything like this could happen here. It came as a complete suprise to me. I mean 2 people rush into an office armed with bombs and take 3 ppl hostage and hold one of them for over 24 hours. Aparently the lawyer represented the moron in a criminal case as his apointed councel. I guess he wasn't happy with the outcome of the case. I mean what were the two rocket surgons thinking
. This just proves to me that anything can happen anywhere at any time. Im still blown away that this happened. there was one good thing that came out of this, our MLK day parade was canceled b/c it was going to go right by the area where this happened.
