Hornady LNL Swage Tool

You can see how it works from the video. It's the same principle of swaging against an anvil that the Dillon 600 uses. Since the results will be no different, and since the Hornady is limited to 7.62 and 5.56 brass, for the price they are asking, I would get the Dillon instead. The Dillon can be set up to do .45 Auto and 9 mm and any other crimped cartridge you might run into in the future. Moreover, you then have a separate bench tool and don't need to take the time to dismount your loading dies and the loading press up for swaging. It saves you a few dollars to boot.

If you decide to get the Dillon, look on YouTube for a lot of videos by people who've made small modifications with springs and wire to automate raising and lowering the anvil and even for automatically ejecting cases from it (if you don't mind the mouths getting banged up a little).

If it would have been made to work with the existing case feeder and ejected automatically I would have paid for it.
I bought the Dillon Super Swager instead.

I looked at both. Even with the YouTube mods, the dillon would be $15 more and seems slower to me. The Hornady tool is $85.

I'm really hoping to hear from a Hornady user, if you are out there.

I have one for 223 and I works with any thing I putt through it. I like it better then the Dillon.

I have both the 223 and the 308. Both work perfectly. The only thing you need to pay attention to is all the crap that falls on the plate. I have a small air compressor that I use, but a can of air would work too. If you don't that crap will foul the primer slide.
