Hornady LNL AP

The more I use this new press the more I like it. I have loaded 223, 38, 357 mag and 45 acp. It is so nice to only handle the brass one time, put it in the shell holder and it get resized, primed, powder and bullet seated then falls into the bin a finished round. No problem with my shoulder as of yet, sure beats my single stage I was using. So far the handle that came with the press is working out for me.

I have been thinking about doing a pool ball style handle on mine. I know they have some really neat ones online that have logos and phrases on them.
And yes, for me going from my single stage to adding the lnl progressive press was a huge time saver. I already have plans to take this press to the grave with me. Maybe mount it to the headstone so visitors can come by with flowers to see me and make themselves some ammo, lol.

rebs,

have you tried the bullet feed dies with the tubes? not as nice as the full size bullet feeder but MUCH cheaper. and it fits in small spaces and speeds things up.

I second the bullet feed die and tubes it runs about 40 bucks. I have had it only a couple of days but sure speeds up everything. You can make your own tubes if you wish

I took a different approach. I got 3 36" brass tubes that were .0401 ID and .50 OD. Drilled hole for a hitch pin just above the setscrew collar and used a little electrical tape at the bottom below the setscrew collar. Sits in Hornady powder thru die perfectly. I added the setscrew collar for support and so each tube sits on the die flat. I can put 70 40 cal. bullets in each tube and then sit them on the die without any other support. Very steady and the bullets seat into the case firmly. Very pleased.

I fed the Hornady bullet feed die I have with a homemade PVC collator. Makes it less like a government job, feeding bullets base down into a hole so extra stuff I buy can then feed it base down into a hole. Just doesn't save much time vs dumping bullets into a collator and loading.
