Hornady case feeder problem

My case feeder keeps dropping 2 cases instead of just one. I found the problem tho. There is a black rubber ball that pushes up on an angled piece which makes it pivot and drops a case. That rod that holds the black ball gets hung up and sticks. Won't let it cycle all the way. So it leaves the hole open instead of blocking it part way and catching the nxt case. What can I do to fix it. Tried grease and one shot dry lube on the rod to make it slide easier but still doesn't work.

Let's start from the beginning. First, make sure the pivot body is level. Not eyeball level but use a level to make sure. If it is not level the push rod will bind with the push rod bushing.

Now if the push rod tip is catching the pivot, adjust it so it will not go that high but will let a case to drop.

Make sure that just the lip of the case is below the feed tube.

Now apply graphite on the push rod and the push rod bushing.

I don't know what cases you are using so you might need to use a pivot bushing.
