Hoppes #9

Does any one else other than me ever use hoppes #9 as cologne? just wondering if i like guns a little too much

Use it as cologne if you want, just don't use it on nickel plated guns.

Well, my fiance isn't really wild about guns so I don't wear it....maybe I should make her wear it to put me in the mood though.

I've thought abut soaking one of those tree shaped car air freshners in it.

Car air freshener. Now =there's= a good idea! I frequently wave a patch wetted with it around to really get the smell wafting around. Way, way back I had a girlfriend who liked the smell. Too bad we had other problems.

That brings up a story. About a month ago I was driving back from a range session where I'd been breaking in a new rifle. I got picked up for speeding. The cop audibly sniffed and said. "Did you just clean your gun?" Can't mistake the good ol' Hoppe's smell.
