Hopkins and Allen

I recently purchased a .32 cal rim-fire Hopkins and Allen Blue Jacket #2 pistol. I paid $50.00 for it (I did not know the frame was cracked.) and figured it would be a nice wall hanger.

It still has quite a bit of chrome on it and the engraving is beautiful. Unfortunately, the trigger and assembly is missing. The frame is cracked just in front of and below the cylinder. The barrel also says Pat. March 28, 1874.

I know it will never be fired again, but I would like to get the trigger assembly and make the pistol complete.

Could someone tell me anything about this pistol and where I might find one for parts or buy parts for it?

What is it worth, with a cracked frame and with-out a cracked frame?

Thanks Guys.

Numrich has a very limited parts supply for H&A guns and don't list that one at all.

Since the gun will be only for display, why not whittle a trigger out of wood, paint it black and stick it in. If you want to be fancy, you can even drill a hole in it and put in a trigger pin so it looks just right.
