I recently acquired a 1944 Turkish K Kale mauser. It shoots great, but I've only used nice winchester factory brass thus far.
I bought a case of Romanian 8mm surplus recently, and when I went and cycled the surplus ammo in the action, 4 out of the 6 rounds cycled really rough/required force to seat. When I extract the round there is a scratch along the casing.
Anyone have any idea what is causing this?
