Hooray for Derma-Grip!

You guys ever tried these? Walther's version of the "rubber sock" to place over the grip of a polymer frame gun, to increase friction. Does not increase grip size. I recommend to take a look at it if you need an improvement to the grip of any polymer frame pistol.

More information please. Is there a web site? Where can you purchase them? Do they fit the P99's? Molded finger groves?

Darn. I'm trying to go to bed here. :D

The thing feels more like friction tape than a rubber sock. Shrinks when heated. Doesn't have any finger grooves etc. of it's own, it follows the contours of whatever grip it's installed to. And it's designed for the P99. :) See Walther's web site, under catalogue / defense / accessories for P99.

(Teuvo Louhisola Oy imports these to Finland, if you really like to know... :D)

Does anyone offer a flashlight attachment for the P99 similar to the HK UTL or the Streamlight M3 for Glocks?

Sorry to butt in, but I checked out the derma-grip, and happened to see that UGLY flashlight attachment they had...

Oops. Correction. I do not know wether the Derma-Grip is designed for the P99 or not. I must have been tired last night... :D It is actually a bit big for the P99, I had to cut a little bit off of the bottom of the "sock". But I do like the feel of it...

I found an "universal" flashlight (ie. works with any flashlight under a certain diameter) attachement once, but they didn´t have the butt plates for the P99. Darn. So, Onslaugh, what ugly flashlight attachement? :) I must have missed that one... :p
